Many Pinoys going to Singapore for the first time are quite perplexed as to how much they should be asking from their prospective employers in terms of salary and other benefits. Many professionals who are clueless about this information can either quote too low – in which case, it affects negatively on their image – or too high – in which case, it affects negatively on their image. Bottom line, you should be armed with the right information in order to get the best deal that you can possibly get.

There are quite a number of manpower consulting companies here in Singapore. Basically, they provide staffing solutions, outsourcing and permanent placement for large multinational companies and SME’s alike. Thanks for the info! Btw, they didn't seem to have info for architects/designers/managers (in the building construction industry). I think this info would be helpful for the many Filipino architects working in Singapore.

ARE YOU WORKING ABROAD BUT HAVE FEW SAVINGS? EARN PART TIME

Are you working abroad for a long time? How much savings do you have or are they all spend to rentals, food, transporation and others?

Do you want to work for a boss forever and make them rich or do you want to work for yourself and make yourself rich? Are you worth what you are earning? Can you ask your boss to double your income in a span of 1 year?

Are your families in the Philippines? Do you want them to grow up without you? (1 of our collegue is a 24 yrs old Registered Nurse. He told us that his dad is a Seaman and he seldoms see his dad. He calculated that the accumulated time he is with his dad is just 2 yrs in 24 yrs of his lives, because his dad is always outside the country) Do you want your kids to be like that?

You can change what you have today. You can work part time while working on your regular job and earn up to 1,000 SGD per month by working 1 to 2 hours per day. Income can be doubled as you increase your skills.
